DIY toner for acne prone combination skin

There’s always something for dry skin, for oily skin, and combination skin. But the real challenge comes for acne-prone combination skin when they go to buy their skincare products. Some of the products are too oily for the t-portion and some products are too drying for the cheeks and temple area.
Don’t worry, here is a quick toner with products on the go for the most misunderstood skin type!

  • Small spray bottle


  • Apple cider vinegar

  • Tea tree essential oil

  • Turmeric essential oil

  • Lavender oil

Take 100 ml of distilled water and add 25 ml of Apple Cider Vinegar to it (it’s best to go by 1:4 ratio for sensitive skin). Add in 5 drops of each essential oil and shake well.

Do a patch test first on the back of your hand and you are good to go with this quick DIY toner!

AVC has antibacterial properties that soothe your skin and helps in reducing acne. Tea tree and turmeric essential oils are known for their medicinal properties of treating acne and spots. Lavender essential oil helps to soothe the skin and makes it calm.
