The Karnataka authorities has issued an order to arrange a Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Nomadic Communities Growth Board for the upliftment of those communities that are among the many most downtrodden.
That is aimed toward serving to 51 communities amongst Scheduled Castes and 23 communities amongst Scheduled tribes, as per the order. As per the 2011 census, there are 9,91,184 folks belonging to nomadic and semi-nomadic communities. On the Central degree, there’s Growth and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities.
